Hope you had a splendid holiday break last month? Mine was fantastic. At the start of every New Year, serious minded individuals usually have personal and business resolutions that usually involve either stopping a negative habit or setting individual and business goals.

Every business owner has a common Goal “To Attract More Clients and Make More Money”. Though yours may be different but a business owner always have the intention of increasing market revenue. So I ask once again “What Is Your New Year Business Goal”?

My advice to you is to device strategies that will increase more publicity to your business which will result to more customers acquisition. It is a well-known fact that without publicity a business will experience stunted growth. Personally, I would want my business to experience Rapid Growth this Year. Below are some ways you should ensure your business get the needed publicity and attract more customers:

1)      Have a Website :- If your business does not have a website in this 21st Century, then you are missing the opportunity to reach out to millions of your target audience online. Nigerians are the highest users of the Internet in Africa with over 48 Million Nigerians going online. Your website will be a platform to connect with your target audience and close more sales. 2)      Be Social :- Customers are more comfortable dealing with businesses that has Social Media Presence. Is your business on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube? 3)      Advertise Online :- It is normally said majority of Businesses die within 5 years of establishment. The major cause of this disaster is lack of marketing. I’ve had the opportunity to interview some business owners and I’m always amaze how they neglect marketing. They just believe customers will come even without marketing. We are living in 21st century with so much competition and you need to market your business in order to attract new customers and retain existing ones. 4)      Attend Networking Events : - I have a made a lot of mistake as a business owner and one of them was failing to attend Networking Events. I’m an Introvert which I’m trying to change. By attending Networking Events from Late 2012 to 2013, I’ve made a lot of high powered connections which are very vital to the success of any business. These people I’m connecting with can also refer others to make use of my service. You should setup your weekly or monthly schedule to accommodate attending at least one Seminar or Networking Event. The benefits outweigh the cost provided you are prepared to meet new people and exchange cards and business ideas with them. You will reap the benefit eventually.
